Hello, wonderful world of Aerithea! I'm Shione, as it says right on the tag. I hail from the distant planet of Felisfire and reside there under the guise of Spring Greenleaf (672) with my wonderful lab partner, Therion. I have crossed the depths of mountains, the bustling thoroughfares of space, and the terrified scowls of my poor, worried parents to meet with you all today. I hope you're happy. >_>
This is such a strange land. It appears to know nothing of physics or logic of any kind. The scientists on my home world would be most disappointed. (However, I hear that some of them also have crossed the border, so perhaps they tire of science.) Well. As I was saying, this is a strange land... Yet it is a wonder to escape the trifles of scientific exploration so that I may perceive our universe in a very new light! Science is wonderful in its own right, but I long for fantasy as well. And just look at all the wonders which surround us this very instant! I can hear the buzz of birds and the twittering of insects, the swimming of lizards and the scurrying of fish, the scuttling of snakes and the slithering of spiders. I see the yellow glow of the sun shining on the perfect blue pond which appears to be home to creatures unknown to me, and the glistening of the dew on the grass that will be gone before the end of morning. A paradise for a scientist.
I suppose you'd rather hear about me than my ramblous musings. Very well. If I recall correctly, I am several months more than 18 years old. Quite a big accomplishment to have visited two strange planets in my short time, yes? Well, I am a genius, after all.
Joking. I just happen to have good connections.
I enjoy the studies of nature, both here and from my home worlds (while Felisfire is not where I was born, it is my home.) I enjoy the smooth sailing of birds, the bumbling bees, the awkwardness of a seal on land and its sudden transformation into a thing of beauty. I also enjoy the science of poor descriptions and mixed-up phrases of the world around me. It is quite the hobby of mine. Do forgive me, will you please?
I do regret leaving behind my beloved 'pets'. Large, alien, winged cat-like creatures cannot quite be called pets, but they are wonderful companions. I only hope they will forgive my leave. I shall return to them when the time is right.
On the off chance I am not at one moment conducting advanced studies using advanced techniques as one of the most advanced scientists of my field, I enjoy reading a good book. Fantasy is my preferred genre, oddly enough. I adore reading about unicorns and dragons and fights to the death. Except when my favorite character dies. I HATE that! Why do authors do that to us?! It's cruel. So cruel.
Forgive me; I am rambling again. I have many hobbies, and they all include rambling. Sorry about that.
Actually, I perhaps am finished rambling for now. My mind has simply run out. You are probably quite relieved, if you have even managed to stay with my introduction and are not enjoying a well-deserved nap. (Seriously - if you read all this, you deserve a good sleep, buddy!) Whether you did or did not fall asleep, I thank you! Here's a cookie. (It's really a cat biscuit.)
